Hello, my name is Yanira!

Thank you so much for considering me to be a part of your sacred journey. If you’ve ever felt disconnected from the traditional, clinical birthing experience that society has normalized, you’ve landed in the right place.

I’m Puerto Rican, raised in Florida, and come from a multigenerational military family. As the eldest of three daughters, I witnessed firsthand the strength and struggles of my mother, who became a parent at just 16. Her experiences shaped my passion for birthwork and my mission to break generational cycles—especially those affecting Black and Brown families.

I believe that birth is not a medical event, but a powerful rite of passage. My approach is grounded in ancestral wisdom, holistic healing, and the belief that every birthing person deserves to feel held, informed, and empowered. As a budding herbalist and lover of Earth medicine, I weave natural remedies and traditional care into the support I provide.

Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or adding another little one to your family, it would be my honor to walk beside you during this transformative time.

Your Postpartum Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A one hour initial appointment (virtually or in person) to discuss your postpartum experience, develop a care plan and schedule your appointments.
An additional 7 hours of appointments during pregnancy or postpartum (virtually or in person) scheduled as 60 or 90 minute appointments to cover the following topics:
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
