About Shauna

Hello 👋. My name is Shauna and I am a certified and insured doula in the Western Massachusetts area. I am also a Masshealth certified provider. As a mom whose birth experience was less than ideal, I truly believe in empowering individuals during this magical time. I believe the birthing experience can be challenging but should, and can, be looked back on fondly, not with regrets. In my down time I enjoy reading, learning new things everyday, making my own hair and skin care from natural herbs, and spending time with my daughter enjoying the outdoors.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum scheduled as four 90 minute appointments and one 60 minute appointments to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
