Michelle is a dedicated doula and licensed social worker with a heart for empowering families and individuals throughout the journey of parenthood. With over two decades of experience as a birth mother counselor in adoption/foster care and a robust background in trauma-informed care, child development, and substance misuse, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role.

As a mother and an advocate for public health, she understands the importance of creating a supportive, calm birthing environment, and she prides herself on being a guardian of positive energy during birth. Michelle’s approach is centered on providing education, emotional support, and guidance, ensuring that every parent feels respected, listened to, and cared for, regardless of how the birth unfolds.

She aims to offer unbiased, non-judgmental support, empowering her clients to make informed choices and have a fulfilling birth story. Michelle is not only passionate about her work with families. In her personal life, Michelle cherishes her role as a mother to her children and finds joy in volunteering, being by the water, and spending time with family.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum scheduled as four 90 minute appointments and one 60 minute appointments to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
