About Kim

Hi my name is Kimberly and I am a dedicated birth doula with a strong background in Public Health and experience in supporting families through evidence-based information, emotional guidance, and compassion.

Becoming a doula was a choice a made because I wanted a doula but couldn’t afford one and I also realized how much I needed to be educated on about birth and postpartum. I let the medical team guide my birth and didn’t feel seen. I knew that I wasn’t the only person that felt like this and I decided to become a resource in my community.

As a birth doula and started by supporting friends and some family members. I am now stepping into the community to create relationships and present myself as a support person. I am also trained in placenta preparation.

My doula care is rooted in respect, empowerment, and education. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel informed, supported, and confident in their choices. I am committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where families can thrive throughout their birth journey.

Outside of birth work, I’m a mom and I love connecting with nature, gardening, reading, traveling and yummy foods!

Your Postpartum Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A one hour initial appointment to discuss your postpartum experience, develop a care plan and schedule your appointments.
An additional 3 hours of appointments during pregnancy or postpartum scheduled as 60 minute appointments to cover the following topics:
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
