About Carla

I am a Proud African American woman, devoted mother to 5 and the middle child of three. My life has always been rooted in family, service and the power of nurturing others, both physically and spirituality.

As a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, I bring not only my professional experience, but also deep compassion and understanding to every birth and healing journey I support. I am also an Herbalist, drawing from traditional and holistic practices to help families thrive during some of the most transformative times of their lives.

Family is at the core of everything I do. My upbringing taught me the importance of loyalty, dedication and showing up for those around me. Whether it’s supporting new mothers, educating the community, or simply lending a helping hand. I believe in leading with purpose.

I am a lifelong learner and passionate sharer of wisdom, especially involving birthwork, herbal wellness and empowering others.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
Up to 11 Additional 60 Minute Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
