About Asia

I’m Asia Jackson—doula, licensed social worker, and mother. My journey into this work began with my own experience as a single Black mom navigating pregnancy and early motherhood. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming this season can be, especially without the right support.

Root + Bloom was born from that experience. I combine my background in trauma-informed care with deep, culturally aware support to help families feel seen, heard, and empowered. My goal is simple: to walk beside you with compassion, advocacy, and love.

Your Postpartum Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A one hour initial appointment to discuss your postpartum experience, develop a care plan and schedule your appointments.
An additional 17 appointments during pregnancy or postpartum scheduled as 60 minute appointments to cover the following topics:
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
