About Angela

My name is Angela. I am from Colombia and I am a mom to a 4 year old daughter, a wife, a birth doula and much more! I became a doula after my own birth experience because I wanted to be there for women/pregnant individuals during such a transformational journey. I believe in your inner wisdom, your power (as well as your baby’s power) just as much as I believe in evidence based care and science. I strive to provide real evidence-based care and some of my values as a doula are: transparency, respect, advocacy, love, empowerment, compassion, kindness and justice! I want to support you in educating yourself so that you can feel REALLY empowered and make informed decisions for your very unique journey! I am also a certified Body Ready Method ® Pro, which allows me to have a deep understanding of how to help you prepare for your desired birth, address and minimize pregnancy related aches and pain and support you in experiencing a smooth transition into recovery and postpartum. I look forward to connecting with you and your family!

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 or 90 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
