About Alexia

Hi:) my name is Alexia. I felt called to be a doula right after the birth of my daughter. I felt so supported and prepared for birth thanks to my own doula and I knew I had to support moms/families during this momentous time in their lives. This is truly passion work for me that I wish I could do everyday and wish I had started sooner. My approach centers on getting to know you and your support person, understanding your preferences, traditions, and cultural values. I provide evidence-based information to help families make confident decisions while creating a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental birthing space.

Some things about me : I grew up on the island of Puerto Rico, I have a degree in occupational therapy, I have been married since 2018, I love to read and dance, and when I’m not doula-ing, I am home or out and about with my daughter.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
3 Additional 60 Minute Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
