I became a postpartum doula because I had seven births and seven different postpartum experiences. My mother was my doula, without the formal title. She took care of everything around me so that I could recover and take care of my baby. I want to do the same for other women, and I am so grateful for the resources and knowledge available now for postpartum care. I am a big fan of the book “The First 40 Days”. After reading it, I realized that other cultures have focused on nurturing the new mother much more than our culture has. I hope this is changing, and I hope the presence of postpartum doulas will be a part of this change.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:
A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.
- A one hour virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
- One additional appointment during pregnancy and postpartum to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
- Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 37 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Back-up doula provided if needed
- Unlimited text support with your doula
- Virtual webinars + educational emails
