About Tymia
Tymia is a kind, fun- loving, and caring person who has a heart of gold. She has been in maternal health and working with children and families for 20 plus years.
She has dedicated her time and effort to serving pregnant women and children birth to five both in the classroom and in their homes.
Her passion to provide quality care for people is evident as she’s often been observed and labeled to be cool, calm and collected which allows her to possess a non-judmental attitude which makes it easy for individuals to open up and talk with her.
Tymia is a mother to an adult son who holds a big piece of her heart, although he’s no longer a baby( he’ll always be her baby.) She enjoys spending time with her son, family and fur babies. In her free time, you will find her love for travel as she is always on the move via plane, train, bus, automobile or cruise ship. She also enjoy cooking, shopping, reading, and listening to music.
Tymia is a certified birth/postpartum Doula and lactation peer counselor. She’s currently enrolled to become a Certified childbirth educator and newborn care specialist.
Becoming a Doula has been one of Tymia’s many dreams, as she believe that being a parent is one of life’s greatest gifts which not everyone gets a chance to experience, however she feels that everyone deserves to experience their birth, their way!
Tymia is dedicated to continuing to give her all on this journey called life to empower, motivate, and grow not only for herself but to all those who are placed on her path!
