About Chena

Chéna Benson-Davis–Owner of Butta’s Holistic Services and CocoaCares Nanny Agency, is a wife, mother of three and certified full-spectrum doula who has served over 100 families in the states of NJ and NY. With a strong foundation in herbalism, Chéna blends her academic knowledge and ancestral wisdom to support families through holistic practices that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

Though a New Jersey native she was raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, by her Guyanese family Chéna’s passion for birthwork and holistic health was deeply shaped by her culturally rich upbringing. Experiencing motherhood firsthand at twenty, she has become a dedicated advocate for teen moms and mothers of color, emphasizing the importance of culturally relevant care.

Chéna’s approach centers on empowering clients to understand and honor their bodies, fostering a safe space for learning and healing. Believing strongly in the village mentality, she strives to ensure Black and Brown families receive fair, respectful, and community-centered care, ultimately helping to reclaim the tradition of holistic support for families through all stages of pregnancy and beyond.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
7 Additional 60 Minute Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
