About Lauren

Women supporting women through this life transforming journey is the timeless way. This has been Lauren’s inspiration for the past 18 years as she educates, nurtures and advocates for women and their families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.

In addition to her work as a a childbirth educator and perinatal doula, Lauren has trained as an advanced newborn care specialist and has practiced as a certified lactation counselor for many years. Her background includes working as a research assistant and doula on The Infant Brain Study at Women at Infants Hospital. Additionally, Lauren has several years of nanny experience, specializing in infants and toddlers.

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science from University of Rhode Island majoring in Human Development, Counseling and Family Studies. She is a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula and a Certified Perinatal Doula through the state of Rhode Island.

Lauren is the mother of three, two young adult sons and a teenage daughter. Lauren strives to provide exceptional, personalized, nurturing, non judgmental care and looks forward to helping families feel relaxed and confident as they adapt to their new roles.

*When booking your first appointment, please book at least 24 hours in advance. Some of our doulas may have same day appointments listed but they would not have enough time to prepare for your appointment without at least a 24 hour notice.
