About Madison

My name is Madison and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula as well as a Certified Lactation Consultant. I’ve been in the OB-GYN department at the Brigham and Womans hospital for over 7years. I’ve loved working beside moms to be and newborns especially. Working in the labor and delivery area is what made me want to explore more avenues of pursuing my knowledge for care for moms and babies. As a CLC and Doula creating a safe and nurturing environment for the mom and baby is key. Supporting in any way I can with feeding, bathing and changing diapers. Establishing a routine for the baby, such as sleeping and eating habits helps raise a happy baby and a happy momma. I enjoy educating the family on newborn care, and teaching them proper techniques for feeding. I always assist the family in creating a healthy and safe home environment for their infant. Assisting with breastfeeding, if needed and always providing emotional support to the family. I’m a mom of one amazing boy who is 2.5 years old. I love being a mom and I love assisting mommas in anyway I can being once in those shoes!

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum scheduled as four 90 minute appointments and one 60 minute appointments to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
