About Vanessa

Growing up I was very close to my grandmother who traveled the Caribbean as a holistic healer. I knew I would find my purpose in a similar space and I’m so excited that this calling has led me to guide and celebrate you in your sacred, but unique experience. As a Track & Field Olympian, I was grateful to represent my land with the fierce passion of an advocate, natural enthusiasm of a cheerleader and spirit of an affirmation warrior. These 3 factors are the foundation of my care, as your doula. As you become more empowered to design your desired birth experience, we’re preparing for hurdles along the way and embracing your instincts with confidence and grace.

Your Birth Doula Support Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A 60 minute virtual prenatal meet & greet appointment to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
5 Additional 60 Minute Support Appointments during pregnancy and postpartum to cover the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Chat support with your doula through the HIPAA compliant app Healthie
