About Emily

Emily Greenslit is a DONA International certified Birth Doula who is passionate about maternal health equity. She believes that everyone should have access to perinatal care and support, and absolutely loves the work she does as a doula!

Emily is currently completing her Master of Public Health at Tufts University School of Medicine, and her research is centered on reducing maternal mortality rates in the U.S. She has completed both childbirth education and breastfeeding workshops, and is working towards IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certification. She understands that birth is a holistic experience, and utilizes her Yoga Teacher Training certification to support birthing people both mentally and physically. She believes that birth should be an empowering experience and will always advocate for YOUR autonomy.

Besides birth work, Emily is an avid lover of distance running, yoga, reading, opera singing, and her sweet kitten– Olive 🙂 Emily cannot wait to meet you and be a part of your birth story!

Enrollment in our Prenatal, Birth & Parenthood Wellness Program where you will receive a copy of our Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting Guidebook delivered right to your door and educational emails delivered to your inbox
Two 1 Hour Support Appointments to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want and to cover some of the following topics:
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Birth Support to include:
- On call status from 38 weeks until you have your baby
- Early labor support through text, phone calls or video calls
- Hands on support during active labor through birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby or hands on support through a cesarean birth until 1-2 hours after you have your baby
- Back-up doula provided if needed
