About Surey

Surey’s journey as a birth and postpartum professional began from a very early age, when she would volunteer to help moms and care for babies at family and community events. As a teenager, when she first learned that having a child did not have to be like the scary, chaotic scenes she’d always seen on TV growing up, her interest only grew.

She holds a B.A. in Anthropology, an M.A. in Archaeology & Heritage Management, and focused on cultural norms and practices surrounding gender identity, sexuality, and the construction of womanhood throughout her academic career. As time passed, however, her fascination with childbirth and supporting growing families kept beckoning.

When she had the opportunity to support her baby sister in having her first baby, she knew she had found her calling. From that time on, she has never stopped learning and supporting families in having their best birth experience and transition to life with a new baby. She has completed trainings as a Birth Doula, Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, Postpartum Placenta Specialist, Belly Bind Wrap Artist, Certified Lactation Counselor, Child Passenger Safety Technician, and Childbirth Educator.

Your Prenatal + Parenthood Package includes:

A doula to help you and your family ease into early parenthood.

A one hour prenatal meet & greet appointment (virtually or in person) to discuss the birth and postpartum experience you want.
7 hours of additional support during pregnancy and postpartum (virtually or in person or both) to cover the following topics
- Birth + baby preparation
- Newborn care and sleep consultation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support
- Your postpartum recovery
- Connect you with local resources and answer any other questions
Unlimited text support with your doula
Virtual webinars + educational emails

*When booking your first appointment, please book at least 24 hours in advance. Some of our doulas may have same day appointments listed but they would not have enough time to prepare for your appointment without at least a 24 hour notice.

This package does not include birth support.

*Once matched with a doula, your spot is not secure until you book your first appointment. If this appointment is not booked within 7 days of being matched, the doula match is subject to change.
